Happy Mother's Day and OCLDT12

Friday is my favorite!!!  Well, actually I love Saturdays because my husband gets up with the kids and I get to sleep in a bit - and then we have a family day!  But Friday means Saturday is coming!  One reason I love Friday so much is it is the Our Craft Lounge Design Team Sketch Challenge! 

Today's sketch is based on a fantastic card by Charmaine Ikach.  I LOVE the card, the colors, everything about it! 

I have to say, I did take some liberties with the sketch this time.  It all revolved around my stamped image - so some changes had to be made.  I am happy with how the card came out!!!  I sure loved coloring the flowers - from the stamp set Friendly Flowers.  And it was fun adding the dew drops to the center of some of the flowers.  I just love adding some dimension.  The sentiment is from the stamp set Vintage Roses.

OCL Blog Hop - come and play!

Happy Friday!  I can't tell you HOW happy I am that today is Friday!!!  And I'm also SUPER EXCITED about the fun stuff going on with Our Craft Lounge!

Today I'm showing you a card that I made using the adorable new set Tweet Thang.  I used the OCLDT11 - OCL Friday Design Team Sketch Challenge layout to make this card.  It's such a great layout - making this card was easy peasy!  And I used Appletini Green Sparkly Fluff to make the grass stand out - and give it texture.  OMW - I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Sparkly Fluff!  And I get to GIVE SOME AWAY!!!

Peekies!!!

Hello and Happy Thursday!  I'm having so much fun being able to show you some sneak peeks of the new stamp sets being released by Our Craft Lounge.  They truly come out with the most incredible stamps!

Today I am showing you a card using the new set School Notes.  Another perfect set for both cards and scrapbooking.  The patterned paper just said "SCHOOL STAR" to me!  I added some brads and some dew drops and voila!

OCL Sneak Peek - Beach Days

Hi there!  I am happy to be back and posting a card!  :)

Our Craft Lounge is releasing 13 stamp sets this month!  And I am lucky enough to be able to show you a sneak peek for a set called Beach Days.  It is a fantastic, fun, adorable set and I had a lot of fun coloring and putting this card together!

Isn't she ADORBLE???  I used some bling (a FAVE product I cannot live without) on the corners to jazz up the card a bit.  The patterned paper for some reason just made me think of the beach.

It's FRIDAY!  I am THRILLED!  I am looking forward to some family time.
